OUR TEAM

Falak Nawaz
Chairman BODMr. Falak Nawaz is a seasoned practitioner in disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation, with over three decades of experience in capacity building, institutional strengthening, and human resource development. He has worked extensively with government institutions, UN agencies, donor organizations, and national and international NGOs to strengthen disaster and climate resilience.
Mr. Nawaz holds advanced degrees in Geography from the University of Peshawar in 1992 and in Geo-information Sciences from the Netherlands in 2001, and has delivered training, led resilience initiatives, and presented research in over 25 countries worldwide.

Lubna Farooq
Executive Director / Member BODMs. Lubna is a senior development professional with over 25 years of experience leading and advising multi-sector programs in Pakistan, particularly in fragile and conflict-affected contexts.
She has worked with USAID-funded projects, the US Department of Justice (ICITAP), government institutions, and civil society organizations across economic development, governance, rule of law, resilience building, and sustainable livelihoods, with a strong emphasis on women’s economic empowerment.
Her work aligns closely with the SDGs, focusing on inclusive growth, institutional strengthening, community resilience, and sustainability. She has served on several boards as a Director and is currently a Board Member and the Polio Committee Chair at Rotary Club Corporate Pakistan.

Dr. M. Aamir
Member BODDr. Muhammad Aamir is a senior environmental scientist and climate resilience expert with over 15 years of experience in environmental health research, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, and institutional capacity building.
With a PhD Degree in Environmental Sciences, Dr. Aamir has held senior academic and research positions in China, including at Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Shuren University, and has published extensively in leading international journals.

Zaland Khan
Head of ProgrammesMr. Zaland has over 12 years of experience in business management, team leadership, client engagement, resource management, and partnership development. He has successfully supervised and led large customer success and logistics teams for international and US-based organizations. His expertise includes problem-solving, process improvement, client relationship management, business development, and project coordination.

M. Javaid
Administration and FinanceMr. Javaid is a results-driven finance and accounts professional with over 15 years of experience in managing financial and administrative operations, leading cross-functional teams, and supporting organizational growth. He has a strong track record in improving financial performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance. He holds an MS Degree in the field of Commerce and a BS Degree in Management from the University of Peshawar

Mahnoor Khan
Manager Media and CommunicationHolding a BS Degree in Business Administration (Marketing), Ms. Mahnoor plays a key role in enhancing the organization’s public image, visibility, and stakeholder engagement across both traditional and digital media platforms. She is responsible for developing and implementing integrated communication strategies that effectively convey the organization’s mission, programmes, and impact to diverse audiences, including government institutions, development partners, media organizations, and the general public.
